Your love story - an engagement shoot
One of my absolute favourite things is shooting couples and I strongly believe that every season of your relationship deserves celebrating and cherishing that isn’t always revolved around a specific milestone or anniversary. This is a recent couple’s shoot I did of Stuart & Annabelle who got engaged during New Year’s in Paris (swoon) and who are getting married next year. I love this shoot for so many reasons and sitting here thinking back about why specifically, it was because they arrived to the shoot fully present and open minded about the process. Like most people that I shoot, they had never experienced a photo shoot session before and were understandibly nervous but once they relaxed into it (it helped that I was blasting catchy love songs on my portable speaker), I was able to capture their love and tiny intimate moments without much input or direction from me.
This is your sign that you don’t have to have experience in front of the camera or wait for your wedding day to capture the most gorgeous and organic candid photos of your love story. Aren’t these going to look absolutely stunning hung up in their new marital home? I admit, I am a hopeless romantic and I just love love… and you know what? Maybe that’s exactly the type of person who can help you come out of your shell as a couple; someone who loves that your love is just yours and like no one else’s and focused on capturing that.
