A dreamy in studio maternity shoot

Sometimes you may have a very specific idea for your maternity shoot and for me as a photographer this is always super fun because I get a real insight into who you are as a woman and as a mama-to-be when you know your vibe prior to your shoot. Gorgeous mama Amanda approached me with a pinterest board full of gorgeous photos; I’m not really a dressy person she said, and she had the most beautiful idea about some calvin kleins and jeans and a body suit and my favourite - her husband’s shirt - simple, elegant, iconic - just like her. I had the idea of the baby’s breath bouquet and together we were able to merge our ideas into this stunning shoot.

This is your sign that your shoot is all about you - the vibe, the aesthetic and your personal taste level is what makes it all come together, there is no right or wrong, there is only being open minded, going with the flow and being clear about what you like. My job is the amazing honour of watching you in bloom and capturing this miracle you are carrying - and reminding you that before you’re a mama you’re also you and that gets to be whatever you want it to be.
