Really excited to announce that I am now working with Kayd Somali Arts & Culture as the Project Manager for their new project that I co-created titled Somalis: A Nation of Poets, which was chosen by City Hall as one of 6 Community Based Projects in London that the Mayor’s Office will fully fund. Today we had our first meeting at City Hall with Dep. Mayor for Social Integration, Social Mobility, Community Engagement, Matthew Ryder.
My short story collection book launch that was held in Soutbank in October as part of the London Literature Festival as well as Somali Week Festival 2017 is now on Youtube. Watch it here.
